This original abstract artwork is crafted through the inlaying of coloured clays. Artist Susan Christie of Formantics dyes and cuts each clay shape by hand, embedding them into the surface alongside drawn lines and painted patterns. Like a painting, the ceramic image evolves slowly—through cutting, composing, and layering—a visual language that celebrates texture, colour, playfulness, and the beauty of imperfection. This particular painting features two types of green. Warm olive-green forms and a cool forest green stripe set against a textured and pink and white base.
Comes signed and ready to hang. Can be displayed inside or out.
