END OF LINE 50% of Seamless - Sculptural Object

This piece challenges hierarchies in the art world by emulating fabric, a material normally associated with fashion and craft.  This sculptural piece has been created by printing texture into the clay and gently folding and draping the clay. The underside of the sculpture has been painted in matt dark green underglaze. A burgundy glazed ball balances in the folds of the clay. The ball is not attached to the base so can be moved around to the viewer's delight.
