Seamless - One of a Kind Sculptural Object (Black and White)

This piece challenges hierarchies in the art world by emulating fabric, a material normally associated with fashion and craft.  This sculptural piece has been created by painting pattern into the clay and gently folding and draping the clay. A white glazed ball balances in the folds of the clay. The ball is not attached to the base so can be moved around to the viewer's delight.
