Nerikomi Art Tile

This original abstract artwork is crafted through the inlaying of coloured clays. Artist Susan Christie of formantics dyes and cuts each clay shape by hand, embedding them into the surface. Like a painting, the ceramic image evolves slowly—through cutting, composing, and layering—a visual language that celebrates texture, colour, playfulness, and the beauty of imperfection. This particular art tile features three types of clay, white, light terracotta and a darker terracotta. The art tile is hung by one corner with a playful white glazed ball to cover the fixing.

Comes signed and ready to hang. Can be displayed inside or out.

Size  215mm long, x 150mm wide and 5mm deep.
