Seamless - One of a Kind Sculptural Object

This original art work challenges hierarchies in the art world by emulating fabric, a material normally associated with fashion and craft.  This sculptural piece has been created by printing texture into the clay and gently folding and draping the clay. A 22 carat gold ball appears to balance on the top of the object.  Glazed in burgundy, white, light blue and mustard stripes on one side and imprinted with texture on the other.    Can be displayed flat or vertical.
